Camp Russell | Summer Nature Day Camp | July 28-Aug. 1

Does your child always seem to find water? This weeklong day camp at the Natural Resource Education Center in Russell Woods Forest Preserve is dedicated to the Kishwaukee River and all the living creatures in and around it.

The theme for week four is Rockin' in the River. The camp will take place from July 28-Aug. 1, from 9 am to 3 pm. This camp is for youth ages 11-13 (campers must have completed fifth grade). Youth will study and become river experts by the end of the week. Campers will have a wet week of learning and fun!
